Terms of service
These terms apply to the services provided by Mastering Scale ("we", "us") through masteringscale.com. By requesting a snapshot or buying a service from us, you agree to them.
Our services. We provide advice on how often AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity mention your business, and what you can do to improve it. Our services include a free snapshot, a paid audit and a paid multi-year plan. The scope, price and timing of any paid service are set out in the proposal or invoice we send you.
Advice only. Our fees cover our analysis and advice. They do not include the cost of any placements, advertising, reviews, features or other paid work with third parties. Any such costs are a separate budget that you choose whether to spend, and you contract with those third parties directly.
No guaranteed results. AI assistants change their answers frequently and are controlled by third parties. We do not guarantee any particular ranking, mention, share of answers, traffic or revenue. Measurements we provide reflect the questions and tools tested at the time.
Payment. Paid services are invoiced in pounds sterling. Unless your proposal says otherwise, payment is due before work starts. Where we say an audit fee can be credited against a later plan, that credit applies only within the period stated.
Cancellation. If you are a business customer, paid services can be cancelled before work starts for a full refund. Once work has started, fees for work already done are not refundable.
Your information. You confirm that the details you give us are accurate and that you are authorised to act for the business you name. We handle personal data as described in our privacy policy.
Intellectual property. Reports and plans we deliver are for your internal use. You may share them inside your business and with your advisers. Our methods, tools and templates remain ours.
Liability. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability for any service is limited to the fees you paid us for that service, and we are not liable for indirect losses or lost profits.
Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you buy a service applies to that service.
Law. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
